A&A highly recommends re-coating your floor every few years. Our Bona Top Coating System will significantly extend the life of your hardwood floor in general and allow considerably more time to pass before the hardwood will need to be fully refinished again. Re-coating a wood floor replaces the top coat of finish as it becomes worn but before the wood becomes exposed. Once the wood loses its protection and is exposed it will begin to take on a gray tint, and will need a full refinish in order to be restored.
